Submissions

We will be accepting submissions again from 17th November 2023 until 12th February 2024.

Please read our home page before submitting to us, to ensure that you feel confident that your writing fits with COGITO’s ethos.

If you do not receive a response from us within 6 months from the date of your submission, then please assume that on this occasion you have not been successful.

Sorry, but we will not provide any feedback on unsuccessful titles, nor will we give advice on where else you might send your material.

How to Submit

If you would like us to consider an adult literary fiction, non-fiction or poetry title, please email the first thirty pages of your typescript in MS Word along with a brief synopsis and a covering letter containing the following:

your full name and any pseudonym if applicable
your address
your telephone number
your e-mail address
details of any previously-published material
a brief description of what you believe makes your work stand out
for non-fiction, details of your background experience that qualifies you to write the book.

We will not consider work that has already been published, including self-published books or e-books, nor will we consider books for children.
